BETH ROGERS, RN, MPA, CCRC

Beth received her Associates of Nursing degree from Grand Rapids Junior College, Bachelor of Science and Masters of Public Administration in Health Care from Western Michigan University. She has over twenty years of research experience as a research coordinator and member of several Institutional Review Boards. Beth is a certified clinical research coordinator.

"It is my desire to bring the most advanced, cutting edge research in Women's Health to the women of our community. We adhere to the internationally recognized "Good Clinical Practice Guidelines" along with a team dedicated to health and wellbeing of our patients.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her three adult children, their spouses and three grandaughters as well as travelling.

JUDY VERKADE, RN, MSA, CCRC

Judy Verkade is a Registered Nurse who graduated from Calvin College and Blodgett School of Nursing. She received her Master's degree in Science of Administration from Central Michigan University. Judy is a certified clinical research coordinator. She has over 25 years of Obstetrical and Women's Health experience, working at Blodgett Hospital, Saint Mary's Hospital, and Butterworth Hospital before coming to work at Female Pelvic Medicine in the Research Department in Summer 2008.

Judy has three grown daughters who are all involved in health care professions. She loves to read, watch movies, shop, knit, make jewelry, cook and do yoga in her spare time.

"I have always been an advocate for women and women's health issues. I want to be able to improve the quality of life for women at any age by exploring new advances in medicine and teaching women more about their own health."

 

JUDY LEIDIG, RN, BSN

Judy began her nursing career over thirty years ago working on a med/surg unit. She gained a great appreciation for direct patient care relationships after spending over ten years as a case manager for a home health agency. She brought that personal concern for patients into her current role as a clinical research coordinator, helping women improve their quality of life.

Judy received her RN and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Virginia. She enjoys international travel, camping, and spending time with husband and her two married children. She has worked in Women's Health for the past four years helping women find new solutions for challenging health problems.

 

IANTHA FYOLEK, CHI

Iantha is a clinical research assistant. She is also Certified Healthcare Interpreter for Grand Rapids Women's Health, bilingual in Engligh and Spanish.  Iantha is very passionate about medical research, women's health and improving healthcare acess to limited English speakers.

She is married with a daughter and two stepchildren. They enjoy reading, cooking and entertaining friends.

 

LAUREN GARBER, RN

Lauren has been a registered nurse since 2003. She graduated from Grand Rapids Community College. Her background includes women's health, pediatrics and medical surgery. Before joining the Research Team, Lauren worked at Metro for seven years, where she developed her passion for patient care. She is happy to be a part of the Research Team because she loves sharing with women available resources to help improve their quality of life. 

She has been married since 2004 and has two young children. She enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking, sewing and working her independent jewelry business.
