Why do women leak when they laugh?
1 in 3 women suffer from urine leakage. The good news is, there are real answers beyond simply wearing pads or liners. Today's in-office procedures can offer safe and effective solutions to this common problem.
Loss of bladder control with laughing, coughing, sneezing or exercise is a type of incontinence called stress urinary incontinence. An office visit with our urogynecologists can help determine the cause and best treatment options for each individual. We offer many types of treatment including medication, injections, therapeutic, non-surgical and surgical options. There are also simple lifestyle changes that can improve or help manage leaking.
Even if other treatments have failed in the past, we may be able to help. Our physicians specialize in continuing treatment options for incontinence and other urogynecologic issues. Improving quality of life for each and every woman who trusts us with their care is our main goal.
