
PELVIC FLOOR REHABILITATIOMWhat is pelvic floor rehabilitation? If you need pelvic floor rehabilitation, your doctor will prescribe it for you. A comprehensive plan of care is created between you and your doctor to meet your individual needs. The therapy program lasts between 6 and 8 weeks, depending on the need for therapy. It is made up of weekly office visits and can also include pelvic muscle exercises (kegels), biofeedback and/or electrical stimulation of muscles, depending on the woman's individual plan of care.
